In ULMA Polymer Concrete we are aware of the instrumental nature of the technics to shape architecture, discipline which essence rests in values more universal, timeless and intangible than those from a determined technology. However, it is important to know this to be able to devise and execute with warranties the special intuition of the projects.
The impermeability is one of the important properties of our polymer concrete, something that makes it an inalterable element against the freeze-thaw cycle.
We manufacture our façade panel associating the mass polymer concrete with a superficial layer of Gel-Coat. This superficial layer bound to colorant pastes, is highly resistant to ultraviolet rays, pollution, solvents, acids and bases, graffiti, etc. The absence of porosity, both in the polymer concrete as well as the Gel-Coat layer, make the ULMA façade limit its maintenance to an easy periodical cleaning with soap and water.
