Linear drainage. The XXI century drainage concept
ULMA channels represent a new philosophy with regards to surface drainage. Point draining, or using drains, has been surpassed in Europe and the United States by linear drainage. Linear drainage represents the XXI Century drainage system: it eases the construction of slabs or floors.
- Ease of slab or paving execution.
- It is much more hydraulically efficient than point drainage.
- It blocks flooding in point areas.
- The grating allows for any point to be recorded, which facilitates cleaning and network maintenance.
- It absorbs minimum ground slope without the need of complicated onsite execution.
- It is less expensive than the total cost of underground drainage network.
