Instructions to install lintels - MODEL DCT
- 1Place the lintel on the corresponding line of bricks, leaning it on the façade with about 12 cm at either side (recommended). ( See Fig. 1)
- 2The lintel has M8 threaded nuts embedded in the mass every 50 cm.
- 3Fix the lintel to the top floor slab or to any resistant element, using L-shaped stainless steel platens (see Fig. 2). The platen is screwed on to the nuts on the lintel and on the other end the floor slab is screwed.
- 4We recommend carrying out this operation in all the anchoring points on the lintel.
Note: the platen must have a notch because of the possible throw regarding the position of the lintel anchoring devices.

- 1Place the lintel on the corresponding line of bricks, leaning it on the façade with about 12 cm at either side (recommended) ( See Fig. 1)
- 2Put a prop in the centre of the span in order to level it properly.
- 3The lintel has galvanised anchoring devices every 50 cm, with perforations.
- 4Fix the lintel to the top floor slab or to any resistant element with metal strapping or steel wire. Tighten the strapping or twist the wire until there is a camber in the centre of the lintel span, and we will have to place the prop again.

5We recommend carrying out this operation in all the anchoring points on the lintel.

6Once the lintel is fixed, the façade above is continued.

7Once the lintel is loaded and after the minimum time required for the elements involved in the process to dry and set, the prop is removed.
Lintels with cantilever edges
The procedure is the same as the previous sections, but we must take into account that there must be an anchoring device to fix the cantilever edge at the end. If the lintel does not have an anchoring device at one end, it must be created with an extension plug.
