CHANNELS IN NORMAN FOSTER'S PROJECT

ULMA Prefabricated linear drainage systems are guarantee of satisfaction, and the proof is that they have been installed in notable national projects like Portia Bodegas from Faustino's Group in Burgos.

In Bodegas Portia, designed by Norman Foster , the Technical polymer concrete channel U100KX has been installed, suitable for class C-250 . The stainless steel edege reinforcement, which is embedded in the channel provides execution and proper finishing work of the adjacent pavement. To accompany the channel the mesh stainless steel grating has been chosen.

Both the polymer concrete, and the stainless steel are materials, optimal for use in food environments, for its resistance to most chemicals, and in this specific case to wine fermentations.

Norman Foster has received the Riba Awards 2011 (Award of the Royal Institute of British Architects) for this project, its first foray into the world of wine .
These are the only channels installed throughout the complex.
